Jungle Bedroom
The bedroom was designed for a very creative child who loves animals. The room holds dozens of stuffed animals in a custom-made net. The platform provides a place to play and house pet birds. It is accessible by a rope ladder and allows access to a fire pole. The platform also creates a space for a private reading nook complete with a chandelier! The bed is oak and houses a desk, dresser, and hidden trundle bed for sleepovers. The room is completed with hand-painted trees, fabric vines and leaves, and a custom window treatment.
A fabric curtain was installed as an entry to the secret reading nook. In this area we installed a miniature chandelier for a fun hidden reading nook or play area.
The bed is designed to be efficient. It serves as a desk, dresser and trundle bed as well as a lofted primary bed. It was a rare find the fit the child's needs well.
