During our scheduled consultation, we will meet at your home to discuss the project in more detail. Mini Design Services can begin during that consultation, once an agreement has been signed and a deposit paid. Therefore, all decision makers must be present at the consultation for Mini Design Services.
For Design Packages, a contract and scope of work will be created after the consultation. Design begins once the contract is signed and the deposit paid.
The simplest design services can be completed in 3-5 days. Most design packages will take 4-6 weeks or more depending on the project's complexity. These timelines are estimations for a single room, additional rooms or spaces will require more time. At your initial consultation, we will discuss a more firm timeline.
The cost of design services is based on an hourly rate, you are invoiced for the actual work performed. Fees for mini-design services range between $600 and $1000. Fees for design packages range between $1,000 and $8,000 depending on the complexity. The fees described here are for a single room, if additional rooms are added there will be additional fees. Before design work begins, we will agree upon fees and terms.
Yes each service can be simplified or added on to and requires a custom quote. You will be provided with options of how to simplify a design service or package, however I will not simplify service at the cost of design quality.
